Welcome to my blog. Here I am, Visual Anthropologist addicted to digital media. Sounds funny, but it fits. And in my work I get to blend the best of both worlds. Life is good.
Applied Visual Anthropologist, that's me.

I am an Cultural Applied Anthropologist. That means I work with 'real' people in contemporary times. No stones & bones.
I work for the Yavapai-Apache Nation in the Cultural Resource Center. My little corner of the world is the Office of Preservation & Technology where I record activities and events... record oral histories... building a research library... maintain a graphics database... and do digital storytelling workshops. Best job on earth!
